More than 32 organizations participated on February 8 and 9, 2024, in the Consortium Building Special Seminar jointly organized by the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) and Jovesolides, Spain.
The event was held at the CaixaForum in Valencia. It brought together around 40 participants from 12 different countries to discuss concept notes and create solid projects vis-à-vis the two EU-funded Programs, Erasmus Plus and Interreg NEXT MED.
General Manager of Jovesolides Boutaina El Hadiri opened the meeting with a welcome note. Hadiri stressed the importance of such activity in enhancing collaboration among the various organizations in the EuroMed zone.
In turn, LDN’s president Amin Nehme elucidated the objectives of the Seminar and highlighted the significance of creating similar partnerships. Nehme emphasized the impact this event may provide to the participating organizations on both the personal and the organizational levels.
Activity coordinator and facilitator Vladislav Petkov inaugurated the sessions with an introduction about the Agenda and the course of action to be followed over the two days.
During the first day, the Concept Notes were presented by the Lead Partners, co-partners were selected, and groups were formed.
During the second day, round tables were organized to enable consortium members discuss further details in terms of structures, proposed activities, roles, tasks and budgets.
The second day ended with a deliberation session through which a final review of the consortiums and the follow-up procedure to be adopted were set.
At the end the Seminar, Jovesolides president Lourdes Mirón concluded the meeting with closing remarks.
Mirón acknowledged the interest, time and effort invested by all to attend. She recognized as well the high involvement and the extremely cooperative spirit showed to fulfilling the Seminar’s objectives.
Mirón conveyed “a special thanks to LDN for this initiative which will open the door for a more beneficial, productive, and effective partnership.”
