The consortium members of the “Youth Community Leaders in Action – Y.C.L.A.” Project got together between April 15 and April 17, 2024 in Palermo, Italy for the Transnational Partners’ Meeting to discuss the project’s process, and plan for the upcoming period.
The meeting was hosted by the Lead Partner the Cooperazione Internazionale Sud Sud (CISS) – Italy, with the participation of the representatives of the partnering organizations joining from Greece, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, and Turkey.
During the first day, the local national trainings were showcased while sharing the learning objectives, the outputs, and the materials produced.
On the second day, the participants delved into the creation of a toolkit dedicated to the mobilization of the youth workers and the engagement of the local communities in effective social activism.
The workshops concluded with a final evaluation session followed by a visit to the city neighborhood.
Y.C.L.A is an Erasmus+ funded project aiming to increase the youths’ participation and civic engagement in the Euro-Mediterranean region’s societies, promoting active citizenship practices, networking and political dialogue in youth policies field.
The Consortium is comprised of the Cooperazione Internazionale Sud Sud (CISS) – Italy, Action Synergy SA – Greece, Toplum Gonulluleri Vakfi (TOG) – Turkey, Lebanese Development Network (LDN) – Lebanon, EuroMediterranean Eve – Morocco, and Club Culturel Ali Balhouane (CCAB) – Tunisia.
