On December 5th and 6th 2022, Raise Environmental Awareness for Deprived Youth project (READY) partners got together in Tunisia for the Transnational Meeting (TPM) to discuss the next steps of the project – an event hosted by The European Association for Local Democracy, ALDA.
During the two days, the consortium discussed the results of the needs analysis carried out in the different countries involved.
The event seeks to build a common perspective to develop an educational content to train marginalized local youth to become leaders in the fight against environmental and climate change.
All partner organizations returned home with a concrete plan for the early stage of 2023 which includes the selection of young participants as well as the development of the Training of Trainers program (ToT).
READY seeks to strengthen the socio-ecological awareness and capacity building of its young beneficiaries. Through the environmental issue, these target groups will develop skills in campaigns, project management, communication, advocacy, etc.
