As part of the #EBSOMED project, Womenpreneur Initiative in partnership with the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) and with the support of @TAG, organized the "Mediterranean Tech Women Festival (MTWF)" Roadshow on November 30 and December 1, 2022 in Madrid, Spain.
In the form of a multiparty meeting promoting a broad and open debate, the event brought together around 120 participants representing more than 10 Euro-Mediterranean Countries from various backgrounds such as private and public ASEs, start-ups, experts, regulators, MPME owners and press.
The event was dedicated to ‘Identify Aspects of Women's Participation in Technology Sector’ in the region and analyze the role of financial institutions in creating inclusive and equitable opportunities for Mediterranean women in the digital economy.
The Business Country Desk #BCD platform www.bcdesk.eu developed by BUSINESSMED (Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises) under the EBSOMED project, was presented as a concrete tool to aide and boost regional economic activity and create networks and business partnerships Strategies, especially for women entrepreneurs.
The meeting was capped off by the awards for female leaders in technology, recognized for their work, dedication and creativity.
