On January 20, 2024, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) organized an InfoDay pertaining to the closure of the Transferring Feet Head Heart Hands Youth Methodology to Middle East -THYME Project.

The event was attended by a number of local stakeholders and was dedicated to expose the project's objectives, activities, and outcomes.

The welcome note was delivered by the project assistant Yara El Hakim followed by a round up presentation provided by the former project coordinator and EU project expert Rita Nassif.

Nassif stressed on the core values of THYME in terms of developing the role of the youth as global citizens and the various means to enabling them to explore how can they influence their local communities to be more sustainable.

In turn, Roy Bachaalany, youth field coordinator at the local partner Caritas Lebanon, showcased the photo shooting sessions executed by the participants as part of the project’s intercultural competences.

Experts and trainers Jawhara Boutros-Elias, Rebecca Lahoud, and Perla Naaman provided a series of glowing testimonials describing their experience vis-a-vis the interactive participation of the beneficiaries.

Project assistant Alec Donerian concluded the meeting with an intervention describing the various phases of the project and the impact it left on the different groups.
