In the framework of the EU-funded MYSEA Project, a tripartite coordination meeting was held in Tunisia among the representatives of the partnering organizations: The Development Information and Education Center - CIES (Italy), Union Tunisienne de Solidarité Sociale - UTSS (Tunisia), and the Lebanese Development Network - LDN (Lebanon).

The meeting was dedicated to put the finishing managerial and financial touches on the Project Closure Event to be held in Beirut by the end of September 2023.

The gathering provided a platform for the participants to effectively plan, discuss relevant details, and make sound decisions that will move the activity forward.

The sessions offered as well the opportunity for a general review of the state of the programmatic and budgetary matters, gain a clear perspective on the implementation process, and improve the synergy among the various parties involved.

‘Mediterranean Youth, NEETs and women advancing Skills, Employment and Awareness in the blue and green economy – MYSEA’ project aims at increasing the employability of youth, women and NEETs in the Agri-food and Waste Management industries. It seeks to develop training-oriented material to both sectors and strengthen local governance and sector-skills alliances between economic actors and TVET institutions to align the education curricula with the sectors’ needs.
