On September 14 and 15, 2023, the partner organizations of ‘The Elephant Man’ got together at the premises of Jovesolides in Valencia, Spain for the official launching of the project.

EU Projects Partnerships Coordinator Amr Abd El Gayed inaugurated the meeting with an overview of the objectives of the meeting and the desired outcomes.

Project Manager Annalisa Caruso conducted the sessions by opening the discussion on the agenda which consisted of several points such as the General Presentation and the Understanding of the Work Packages, the Communication and Dissemination Plan, the Budget and the Financials, the Reporting Rules, and the Evaluation Procedure.

‘The Elephant Man’ is an EU-funded project which aims at promoting among young people the values of social inclusion, the feeling of acceptance of diversity and to open new meeting spaces for their active participation in the community through film workshops.

As a result of the workshops, a short film on social inclusion issues will be produced and presented at the local and at the European levels.

The consortium is comprised of: Jovesólides – Spain, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) – Lebanon, Strefa WolnoSłowa – Poland, AMAKA – Greece, and CEFA – Italy.
