During her visit to Lebanon, the President of the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) Amin Nehme met with Karin Willnauer, the Senior Experten Service (SES - Germany) Project Manager for the MENA Region.

The Parties discussed a wide range of issues in relation to SES scope of work and the services it provides to various sectors vis-à-vis the projects held in Lebanon and the region.

During the meeting, both Parties emphasized the importance of such cross-border cooperation and underlined the benefits of a foreseen collaboration to strengthen an effective partnership in a number of developmental areas.

The Senior Experten Service (SES) is the leading German volunteer placement organization for retired skilled and management professionals. It provides expert knowledge in the fields of skilled trades and technology, commerce and sales, education and training, administration and science, health and social services.

The SES is based in Bonn and has about 180 representatives in 90 different countries around the world and has access to over 12,000 experts from all professional spheres. Since 1983, the SES has completed more than 40,000 voluntary assignments in over 160 countries.

The SES is supported by Germany’s top business organizations such as: The Federation of German Industries (BDI), The Confederation of German Employers’ Associations (BDA), The German Association of Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) and The German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH).
