In 2020, The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) incorporated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) promoted by the United Nations 2030 Agenda into its organizational strategy.

While we have made significant strides in several areas, we pause to reflect on our journey and reiterate our dedication to expediting progress.

During the same year, we started the implementation of the EU-funded ‘MYSEA’ Project for Blue & Green Economy which constituted a wide entrance to the application of Sustainable Development.

In 2021, we joined Catalyst Now, formerly Catalyst 2030, the fast-growing global movement of people and organizations committed to Social Innovation and the promotion of the SDGs.

In 2022, we signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘Besme International’ to enhance the application of the SDGs at the national, regional and international levels; we started the ‘READY’ Project - Raise Environmental Awareness for Youth; and joined afterwards the ‘PRIMA’ consortium for the implementation of the ‘SAFE’ Project - Sustainable Water Reuse Practices.

In 2023, we partnered with ‘MasterPeace’ for the advancement of the Donut Economics, being a pragmatic framework for aligning the SDGs in real-world decision-making.

Needless to mention that the 17th Goal, the Partnerships for the Goals, remains our driving force.

Finally, we know that achieving the SDGs requires a comprehensive and integrated approach that addresses the inter-related nature of the development challenges. However, by gearing up the collective energy of all stakeholders, we ensure their best implementation towards a more sustainable transformation.
