The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) and The EMUI_ EuroMed University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further expand their partnership for “Promoting Euro-Med Academic and Professional Programs.”

The agreement was respectively signed by the President of LDN Amin Nehme, and the President of EUMI Prof. Román Reyes.

The MoU constitutes a form of mutual commitment in complimenting each other`s duties and functions by strengthening efforts for an improved technical cooperation.

It mainly emphasizes the development of teaching and research quality programs focused on the European Union and its projection upon the Mediterranean Area, the formation of professionals in every area of punctual interest for European and Euro-Mediterranean institutions, as well as offering programs of continuous education for updating knowledge and basic skills.

The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to assist individuals, groups and organizations develop their capacities by raising awareness and enhancing technical skills so they can improve their potentials, advance their progress and ensure their growth. LDN works in the education, culture, economy, social and health fields through the various strategic levels of Capacity Building, Social Marketing and Networking Practices, and provides Training, Consultancy and Program Development services. It endeavors to promote new paradigms for SMEs, Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship in collaboration with both the public and private sectors.

The EMUI_ EuroMed University is established as an autonomous public non-profit organization, on the grounds of the legislation that, with regard to Higher Education and Research, is applied in the Republic of Malta. Insofar as it is a Euro-Mediterranean institution, with an international, academic and political structure and projection, is likewise protected under the appropriate Community legislation. It designs and administers its projects in collaboration with a network of European academic-research institutions, after consulting the appropriate institutions of Maghreb and Middle East.
