The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with DEQUALS, Cyprus for the promotion of Validation and Certification of Vocational and Academic Programmes.
The signing of the agreement took place at Leonardo Boutique Hotel in Larnaca, Cyprus. It was respectively signed by the President of LDN, Amin Nehme and the Founder and CEO of DEQUALS, George Antoniades.
It seeks to offer education and training providers with the reliable services vis-à-vis the accreditation, certification and quality assurance of their programmes of study.
Accordingly, DEQUALS will advise on the content of courses to get them accredited by recognized and competent UK Awarding Organization.
The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) is a national non-profit organization “dedicated to assist individuals, communities and institutions build their capacities by conveying knowledge and improving practical performance to enable them manage the changing social requirements, catch opportunities and meet the development challenges.” LDN works in the education, culture, economy, social and health fields through the various strategic levels of Capacity Building, Social Marketing and Networking Practices, and provides Consultancy, Training and Program Development services. DEQUALS was set up in 2009 in order to bring know-how, skills and expertise to the educational sector. The main objective was to introduce to the market a wide range of educational services such as the certification of training, vocational and educational courses. Another area of activity was to offer consultancy services that include the advice and technical support which made it possible for the designated institutions to franchise degrees and other programmes from universities.
