The project partners of “Building Podcast and Media Creation Skills for Peace Building and Democracy – PODJECT” got together from April 21 to April 26, 2024, in Amman, Jordan for the Third Transnational Meeting.
The gathering was dedicated for the participants who completed the first phase of the webinars. It provided them with the practical part of the podcast creation techniques.
The seminars mentored by the Lebanese Communication Expert Sam Khoury started with some general instructions, followed by a series of particular tools related to podcast creation and promotion.
The meeting concluded with a monitoring session of the deliverables pertaining to the various work packages in terms of the administrative and financial management, the training workshops of the youth workers, the Podium platform, and the dissemination process.
It included a special intercultural night to celebrate the different cultures engaged in the project.
PODJECT is an ErasmusPlus-funded project aiming at providing young people with the competences to create and produce their own podcasts.
It seeks to equip them with the needed skills throughout the whole process - from ideation to creation - with the support of PODium, the special podcasting platform.
The consortium is comprised of Sciara Progetti Associazione di Promozione Sociale (SCIARAPROGETTI) - Italy, ETS TWOPLUSTWO - Italy, Action Synergy - Greece, Holy Land Trust - Palestine, iDARE for Sustainable Development - Jordan, Power Group - Palestine, and the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) - Lebanon.
