Founded in 1997, the National University Odesa Law Academy is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large city of Odesa, Odessa Oblast. This institution has also branch campuses in the following location(s): Kyiv, Mykolayiv, Chernivtsi, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Izmail. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, National University Odesa Law Academy (NU OLA) is a large (uniRank enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution.

National University Odesa Law Academy (NU OLA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 23 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
