In the framework of ‘Mediterranean Youth, NEETs and Women Advancing Skills, Employment and Awareness in the Blue and Green Economy’ Project – MYSEA, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) successfully concluded the implementation of the workshops pertaining to the Transversal Skills’ Module.

Two hundred participants distributed into eight groups of 25 people each benefited from the seminars conducted in hybrid mode between November 2022 and March 2023 facilitated by more than 26 trainers.

The collaborating centers spread over the Lebanese territory were as follows: Ajwad Education Center (North), Chekka Development Council – CDC (North), Labora Training Center (Metn), Jezzine Hub (South) and Notre Dame De La Tour - Deir El Ahmar (Bekaa).

The training material includes a series of topics such as Teamwork, Effective Communication, Problem Solving, Time Management and Conflict Resolution. It aims at strengthening the different competencies of the participants in terms of critical and innovative thinking, interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, and citizenship.

MYSEA seeks to increase the employability of youth, women and NEETs in the Agri-food and Waste Management industries, and to enhance local governance and sector-skills’ alliances between economic actors and TVET institutions by aligning the education curricula with the sectors’ needs.

MYSEA project is funded by ENI CBC Med and implemented in Italy, Greece, Tunisia, Jordan and Lebanon.
