With the special collaboration of the #EBSOMED project and on the sidelines of the #MedaWeek Barcelona 2022 which took place from 16 to 18 November 2022, @TAG, in partnership with other leading organizations in the region, an Academy has been organized and placed at the theme of innovation and digital bringing together policy-makers, entrepreneurs, and academics from the Mediterranean region and beyond.
The event included a pitching presenting 22 business ideas from 8 Mediterranean countries operating in various sectors such as technology, sustainability and agrobusiness, which presented their solutions to identify partners and investment opportunities.
The Academy also proposed the Mediterranean Innovation Hub, which allowed the discovery of digital platforms offering solutions for Mediterranean businesses and entrepreneurs, including the Business Country Desk initiative #BCD www.bcdesk.eu, developed under the EBSOMED project to aid and stimulate regional economic activity and create Strategic Business Partnerships and Networks.
