In the context of maintaining synchronization between the EU-funded project ‘MYSEA’ and other activities in relevant sectors in the Mediterranean Basin, the Lebanese Development Network’s delegation visited Brussels, Belgium and Rimini, Italy for the Mediterranean Biodiversity Protection Community (MBPC) Project Final Event, ‘The Mediterranean Leading the Way’, and Ecomondo respectively.
The delegation comprised of LDN Secretary General Samer Aoun and Field Coordinator Johnny Jreish attended first the MBPC Event held in Brussels organized under the title “The Mediterranean Leading the Way - A Cooperative Framework to Strengthen Area-Based Nature Conservation Actions” through which they participated at the Community Building Workshop and the Knowledge Transfer & Policy Debate Sessions.
Afterwards, the delegation joined in Rimini the activities of the Ecomondo 26th Edition, the benchmark event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation dedicated to renew the commitment in the Green and Circular Economy as well to the environmental challenges.
