Jessica Rothenberg-Aalami, Ph.D., is the CEO and founder of Cell-Ed, a customizable messaging platform proven effective to teach, nudge, and coach today’s workforce lacking even the most basic skills over mobile – including flip phones without internet.

Cell-Ed is a culmination of her 20+ years of designing and delivering accessible, affordable, relevant and inclusive mobile learning worldwide. Her experience spans work with major technology companies (e.g., Microsoft, Hewlett Packard), international organizations, governments, umbrella NGOs, and on-the-ground partners.

An active collaborator and speaker, Rothenberg-Aalami is the co-author of Technology at the Margins: How IT Meets the Needs of Emerging Markets and holds advanced degrees in International Development, Business and ICT Design from UC Berkeley, University of Oregon, and Harvard. Joined by a passionate team of educators and technologists, she aims to close skills gaps 3 minutes at a time with a teacher in the palm of anyone’s hand.
