Organizations Cooperate to Benefit Jordanian Youth

Two US-based NGOs have signed a joint memorandum of understanding with the Crown Prince Foundation, the signatories have announced. The MOU was signed during a recent mission by the US entities, Alhambra US Chamber and the Global Impact Initiative (Gii), to Jordan.

“The Crown Prince Foundation has a global reputation for innovating programming that prepares the young people of Jordan for the challenges of opportunities of tomorrow,” explained Anjum Malik, executive director of Gii and managing partner for Alhambra. “The CPF is making a difference in the world. It is exactly the kind of organization that Alhambra and the Global Impact Initiative want to partner with, adding our capacities to theirs.”

According to the MOU the entities will cooperate in three foundational areas: employability & entrepreneurship, citizenship, and leadership.

About the Alhambra-US Chamber: For more than a decade, the Austin, USA-based Alhambra-US Chamber () has promoted education around the world. Since the rise of Covid-19, the Chamber has modified its mission to making top-quality education and professional development content and programming available online and fostering dialogue about the future of global education during and after the pandemic.

About the Crown Prince Foundation: (CPF) was established in 2015 with a vision of ‘Capable youth for an aspiring Jordan’. CPF has an underlying strategy to advocate for mainstreaming youth in all national development efforts. CPF aims to drive growth with a "youth" centric lens, resulting in a young nation with responsible, engaged, productive and thriving youth. CPF’s approach includes a journey addressing the participants’ capacity requirements, to enable youth who are self-driven to create their own opportunities for better livelihoods and income mobility.
