Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Jordan and the European Union held the first business forum on June 11, 2024, in Amman.

The event, themed “Digital and Green Jordan: Pioneering the Future of Business”, was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Nasser Shraideh, and attended by significant figures from both Jordanian and European business sectors, including Vice President of the European Investment Bank Gelsomina Vigliotti.

It focused on key sectors such as green energy, the digital economy, and industry.

The forum also hosted thematic dialogue sessions focusing on green growth and renewable energy, digital and technology, and scaling up industrial operations in textile, pharmaceutical, and agro-processing sectors.

Participants engaged in bilateral meetings to address challenges hindering trade and investment between Jordan and EU countries.
