As part of the EBSOMED project, the 'Regional Business Networking Forum' took place on May 22nd and 23rd, 2023, in Amman, under the auspices of The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with the financial support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). This initiative is implemented by the UNIDO and BUSINESSMED - Union Méditerranéenne des Confédérations d'Entreprises.
The main objective of this forum is to bring together the joint efforts of all stakeholders in order to provide Jordanian SMEs and entrepreneurs with new opportunities to establish connections with businesses from the MENA region and #Italy. It also aims to promote business networks by showcasing the best practices and achievements of the Levelup project.
The event also represents an opportunity for sharing experiences and best practices among participating businesses from the MENA region, Italy, and Jordanian SMEs. Thematic B2B roundtable discussions are organized in parallel with the presentation session highlighting the main achievements of the Levelup project.
Throughout the forum, the BCD (Business Country Desk Platform) of BUSINESSMED was presented. This platform offers a unique combination of a dynamic marketplace and a dedicated space for connecting and mediating between economic operators and institutional structures. Thanks to this innovative tool, participating SMEs had the opportunity to discover and develop new contacts.
