The CREACT4MED Closing Event “Forging Future Paths for Creativity and Culture” successfully concluded in Barcelona, Spain with the participation of over 100 stakeholders from across the Mediterranean.
The event took place on the 10th and 11th of July 2024, at the project coordinator’s Headquarter EMEA in the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, organized in collaboration with the project partner IEMED.
The event was attended by the project partners, beneficiaries, financial agents, business development experts, and start-ups.
CREACT4MED Coordinator and EMEA Senior Project Officer, Maria Ruiz de Cossío, inaugurated the meeting with a welcome note accompanied by a warm congratulation to the participants on their great efforts and significant contributions.
EMEA Project Manager, Christine de Visser, chaired the first session ‘CREACT4MED Best Practice Awards Ceremony’ during which the winners were announced.
On the second day, the Pitching Session took place where the 23 companies supported had the chance to present their cases to look for further funding for their CCI business ventures. The session was followed by a meeting with the investors on “Fostering Creative Ventures: Access to Finance Fireside Chat in the Southern Mediterranean.”
The event ended with the ‘Entrepreneur’s Exhibition’ and a live concert by Café d’Alger.
