On January 8th 2021, the Project Managers of the partnering organizations of the project “TOGETHER – TOwards a cultural understandinG of thE oTHER” had their regular monthly meeting online, organized by the Lead Partner, CulturePolis from Greece.
The major objective of this video call was to discuss and exchange views about the progress of the project during the month of December 2020. The agenda included as well the finalization of the project’s website and the questionnaire pertaining to the research part of the first Intellectual Output (IO1), the Comparative Analysis Report.
Xanthippi Kontogianni, representative on behalf of CulturePolis, addressed the participants with the opening remarks followed by a special session dedicated to the portal’s details conducted by Laura Charogianni project manager from EWORX.
Afterwards, a short meeting for the researchers involved in the Comparative Analysis Report - was held in order to set the final content of the designated questionnaire. The Comparative Analysis Report will cover the broader scientific & policy context with relevant EU policies and strategies, the presentation of the state of the art in intercultural dialogue in TOGETHER countries, and the exploration of good practices within and beyond EU. This will be the leading outline which will provide further guidelines and context for the next results – IOs, providing also update information as to the project context.
‘TOGETHER’ is a two-year Erasmus+ funded project. It derives from the need to create the bonds, establish the appropriate awareness, and promote the common values vis-a-vis the intercultural dialogue between the EU and the neighboring countries.
It mainly seeks to empower all sectors in society through building bridges between people, reinforcing mutual understanding, and boosting economic and social development to enable Europe and its neighbors face the common challenges, and achieve social cohesion and sustainability.
