On Thursday September 16th 2021, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) held the second online session of ‘Podium 2030’ series by hosting Marco Cunetto, the International Cooperation Manager of Businessmed, the Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises.
LDN President Amin Nehme moderated the session which was dedicated to showcase the various Businessmed programs, activities and events.
In turn, Cunetto gave a brief introduction about Businessmed followed by a general overview on the impact it has on the Mediterranean area through actions not limited to economic operators but also social partners and stakeholders in the cultural and creative industries.
Afterwards, he discussed the projects’ details and operations pertaining to Ebsomed, SOLiD I & II, Investmed, the Business Country Desk platform (BCD) and Med4waste.
The Union of Mediterranean Confederations of Enterprises (BUSINESSMED) is a regional professional organisation created thanks to the will, determination and militancy of the federations' presidents of the twelve members and which aims at accelerating the integration and the social and economic development in the region.
'Podium 2030' is the LDN’s special online platform dedicated to shed light on the Network’s partnerships, programs, activities and events. In addition, it provides partners and affiliates the occasion to showcase current projects and discuss upcoming opportunities.
