The overall objective of this workshop is to enable participants to recognize the potential of social media while making innovative use of its tools. In addition, they will be exposed to the role of social media in changing the way that information are created, organized, shared and accessed. They will have as well the opportunity to use some popular instruments; analyze their utility; identify their adaptability and compare its various applications.

Trainer: Michel Kanbour
Mr. Kanbour is the Managing Partner of Innovative Technology – ITEC, a leading web development and graphic design company with a portfolio exceeding 600 companies. His journey in web designing started right after his graduation from the American University of Science and Technology where he acquired his BS in Computer Science and established his first agency which provided IT services to small and middle enterprises. He worked as free lance trainer where he provided a series of workshops in Lebanon and abroad to prominent local and regional institutions and joined simultaneously PIGIER – SUPEC as Web Programming instructor. He is the Social Media and E-Communication tutor at the NGO Capacity Building Program at the CEP-LAU. To stay on top of the game, he has developed his personal and professional skills through Franklin Covey’s and Microsoft’s programs. Mr Kanbour is married to Dona Michael and they have 3 children.
