The Humanitarian Leadership Academy is a global initiative that provides context specific and locally relevant learning resources and facilitates partnerships and collaboration to support organisations to respond to crises in their own countries. HLA operates Kaya (https://kayaconnect.org/), a source of hundreds of free online trainings for humanitarian and civil society workers and organisations.

The aim of this research is to identify technical and leadership capacity strengthening needs among Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) globally. This research is being conducted by a multi-organisation research team, consisting of Lessons Learned Simulations & Training (LLST), Humanitarian Partners International - Partenaires Humanitaires Internationaux (HPI-PHI), and SNO Consultancy.

The survey will be open from 5 January 2022 - 28 January 2022. Participation is strictly voluntary and the survey may be completed anonymously. You are not required to answer all of the questions. Participation will have no influence on past, current, or future support (financial or in-kind) from any of the organisations listed above. Responses to this survey may be used to inform future programming of the HLA, and anonymous quotes with no identifying information may be used in the reporting of this research…  more
