MasterPeace Club Lebanon launches ‘Living Together’ Capacity Building Program dedicated to improve the ability of local civil society organizations working in the field.

The Program constitutes a distinctive space to enhance the competences of Lebanese target groups who will benefit from a series of technical and soft skills’ workshops on topics related to Peace-Building, Dialogue and Conflict Resolution.

The first set of seminars was delivered by the expert trainer Jonathan Choufany who provided two workshops on ‘Body Language Essentials and Public Speaking.’

MasterPeace Clubs are on-the-ground arms of MasterPeace, empowering and mobilizing more and more individuals around the world to become actively involved in peace-building and conflict prevention. They serve as a platform to foster a diverse set of activities towards building peace and togetherness within the local community.

The Club’s projects are aligned with the three main steps towards creating peace as follows: 1) Mobilize, inspire and connect young local talents via music, art and play, 2) Organize dialogue and bring all local stakeholders together, and 3) Create perspective through leadership trainings, capacity-building programmes and starting up social enterprises.

In addition, they are lined up with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals with a main focus on SDG4 (Quality Education), SDG5 (Gender Equality), SDG11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).

MasterPeace Club Lebanon is entrusted by the Lebanese Development Network (LDN).
