Board members of the Lebanon Renaissance Foundation (LRF), donors, lecturers, trainers, participants from all five editions, staff and reporters gathered to celebrate the closing of the ‘Youth Leadership Program 2018.’

The ceremony took place at the Foundation’s premises at Quantum Villa in Beirut.

Communication and Relations Director Fady Bustros delivered the welcome note. Bustros cheered the enthusiasm and seriousness showed by the participants all through the program. In addition, he praised the ongoing commitment and dedication of the tutors and contributors to making the Program a unique experience to all.

In turn, Board Member and Former Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri addressed the audience by emphasizing the importance of values in politics. Mitri stressed the need to revive the moral principles in the political life in Lebanon in times where ethics are overwhelmed by interests and authority.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Foundation Charles Hage and Board Member Eli Khoury handed the Certificates of Attendance to participants who made it to the end of the Program, whereas Tokens of Appreciation were remitted to attending speakers.

The Lebanon Renaissance Foundation is an independent, non-governmental and non-sectarian educational organization involved in the advancement of the practice of non-violence and democratic activism. It focuses on enhancing the aspects of state building and citizenship values. The Foundation is conducting as well a series of projects with the municipalities, an anti-corruption hotline, and a special program on ethics in media.
