The Lebanese Development Network (LDN) held a special team meeting at Louis V Hotel, Beirut dedicated for the implementation of MYSEA, the EU-funded project.
The meeting was attended by Senior Project Manager Amin Nehme, Senior Financial Manager Samer Aoun, Junior Project Manager Mitsa Yaghi, Junior Financial Manager Josette El Asmar, Communication Coordinator and Social Media Expert Antoinette Moubarak and Executive Assistant Rita Nassif.
Nehme inaugurated the workshop by stressing the importance of such endeavor in the development of the various skills pertaining to target groups. He commended as well the efforts made by the team to achieve the very objectives of the project.
In turn, Yaghi presented the operational details of MYSEA during all its stages. The related aspects were thoroughly discussed to ensure a smooth and successful execution.
Consequently, Samer Aoun provided a general overview about the key elements of the Financial Plan and the requirements to be followed.
Communication Coordinator Antoinette Moubarak concluded the meeting by presenting the different components of the Visibility Plan to be adopted for the best exposure of MYSEA.
MYSEA aims at increasing the employability of youth, women and NEETs in the agri-food and waste management industries by developing training oriented to both sectors and strengthening local governance and sector-skills alliances between economic actors and TVET institutions to align the education curricula with sector’s needs.
