As part of the efforts made to expand on the regional and international levels, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) joined ‘Tandem’ - For People Working in Culture and Civil Society.

Recognizing the social and developmental benefits, this step comes in response to the growth policy adopted to enhance knowledge exchange, grabbing opportunities, and building long and lasting relationships.

Tandem is a cultural collaboration programme that strengthens civil society in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. It offers a space to build real, meaningful and sustainable relationships that can grow through shared interests, enthusiasm for creative discovery and the joy of making things happen together.

Since its inception in 2011, Tandem has supported long-term collaborations, knowledge development and networking opportunities for more than 400 cultural managers from over 200 cities across three continents. There are currently six Tandem editions which focus on different regions and topics.

Within each Tandem programme, partners organize working visits to each other’s cities and develop joint pilot projects which serve as a space for mutual learning and engagement.
