In the context of enhancing the capacity of local organizations towards the Erasmus+ Program, the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) organized in partnership with the European Association of Erasmus Coordinators - EAEC, Cyprus a two-day workshop at Louis V Hotel.
President of LDN Amin Nehme provided an introduction about this collaboration, whereas EAEC President Professor Gregory Makrides took over and conducted the courses’ details.
The designated meetings were split into two parts, an Orientation Session and a Technical Workshop which were specifically designed to provide learners with the most useful insights and practical tools pertaining to the Program.
They offered participants as well with the essential overview on how to up-grade their existing EU project management skills vis-à-vis the very distinctive implementation attributes by equipping them with the needed understanding as well as the most effective hands-on experience to undertake a professional reflection and a solid application base of all of the Program’s aspects.
The interactive seminars constituted a unique opportunity for them to explore funding, conduct development projects and carry out networking practices in several areas.
Participating Organizations were as follows: Dorcas, Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Lebanese American University (LAU), American University of Technology (AUT), Soeurs du Bon Pasteur (MDO), Arc en Ciel, Makassed, BETA Europe, UWC Lebanon National Committee, Purple Martin, Saber MENA, Business Motion, Dialeb, Lebanese Association for History, Michel Daher Social Foundation and NGO BILADI.
