In the context of enhancing effective partnerships in the EuroMed zone, a delegation from the Lebanese Development Network (LDN) visited the offices of the Development Information and Education Center (CIES Onlus) in Rome to explore future strategic opportunities.
The delegation, comprised of the President of LDN Amin Nehme and the Secretary General Samer Aoun, met at first with the President of CIES Elisabetta Melandri. The representatives of both organizations discussed the various means of collaboration to develop a durable approach for a lasting impact.
The second meeting was conducted with Loredana Gionne, Head of International Cooperation and Co-Development Department, and the Financial Manager Alessia Sabatini, in addition to the Junior Project Manager and the Junior Communication Officer at MYSEA Project, Francesco Quagliani and Giorgio Sammito respectively.
Recognizing the importance of such partnership, the two groups conferred about the most appropriate ways to implement common projects and optimize their long-term outcomes.
Afterwards, a quick tour was organized to the Vocational Training and Professional Counseling Desk (SOFeL) which aims to create and promote the best professional profile for Italian and foreign adolescents.
Local crafts and national souvenirs symbolizing the Lebanese heritage were presented at the end of the visit.
