Introduction: LDN is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. The Administrative Assistant has a supportive role in the office. He/She will be responsible for managing and distributing information among co-workers, answering phones, and completing other administrative work.
Main Responsibilities & Duties: In this role the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting project implementation, ensuring quality and results by:
• Provides administrative support for project implementation.
• Support the day-to-day work guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitoring the activities of the project, in articulation with the Project Manage and other employees.
Summary of Key Functions:
Providing support to projects implementation, guaranteeing quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provides administrative and operation support on implementation of project;
• Assist in project’s financial and technical supportive documents;
• Supports the reporting process;
• Participates in workshops
• Follow-up, on a daily basis, with the training coordinators to get the attendance sheets;
• To guarantee smooth implementation of administrative and operational activities of the project;
• Maintain up-to-date files and records of project documentation;
• Provide logistical support for workshops and other meetings as tasked by the project manager;
• Process project-related travel arrangements;
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualifications and Experience: University degree, preferably in administration or related area.
Professional Skills and Competencies: Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant, practical working experience in development related projects, preferably with hands-on experience in projects implementation;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
Language requirements:
- Proficiency in English;
- Working knowledge in Arabic
