Personal Statement: have over 20 years experience in various high level positions with practical experience in performing work on national and international management level. They were mostly in line of economic development and labour related topics, budget and financial management. At the moment I am working as an auditor for the European Commission and perform audits on the field in various European countries. Next to these audit assignments I’m also functioning as a liaison officer for an international research centre in Geneva linked to the United Nations and organise and moderated international workshops concerning human rights and gender equality. I have experience as a policy advisor for the parliament, as an advisor on entrepreneurial topics at the chamber of commerce, as deputy director in various governmental and European agencies where I was dealing with refugee and asylum seekers projects at AMIF. I have over 15 years experience in EU project management. Within the ESF Agency I was involved in projects concerning Migration and Integration and Entrepreneurial training. I am experienced in the European Union’s general policy and decision processes. In that period I gained experience in working with policy makers, as well as local and regional stakeholders on government level. As a liaison officer I am experienced in organising international workshops that I moderate on topics of human rights and gender equality. My on the job experience has afforded me a well rounded set of skills, including first rate communication and organisational skills and people management skills. I excel in working as a team member to identify and develop key policy areas , and work in 5 different languages I outstand in being analytical, having good research skills, being well organized and having outstanding written and verbal skills in 5 languages (English, Dutch, French, German and Greek) and intermediary language skills in Italian and Spanish I have the ability to interact with individuals from different countries and cultural backgrounds with respect of their opinions and national interests I have a master degree in international political science mixed with economics. I am skilled in evaluation of projects and system audits too for over 15 years. As I evaluate European funded project for the European commission when they are submitted to receive European funds. Also I evaluate project on national level for the Belgian government entities.
